First things first, Amazon -you have to change your description of this magazine, not sure where you got your description from. This magazine is devoted to SF/fantasy/horror films.
In my opinion, this is the finest magazine available today on SF/fantasy/horror films. The bulk of the coverage is on newer films, however each issue they do look back at some older films.
The magazine starts out with a news section which is excellent, usually about 8 pages long. There are reviews of current films in theaters, and also dvds. But the bulk of the issue is devoted to newer films. You want detail? You got it. For example, in Summer 2010, between two consecutive issues of the mag, there was over 30 pages on Predators. Most of the articles are in a Q&A format, which I happen to like best. The questions are fantastic, most of the stuff you won't read in a typical American publication. And when it comes to graphic design, this mag takes the cake. It's larger (width and length) than most U.S. film publications. And the layout is amazing. You think Rue Morgue magazine is good? Wait till you see this. Laminated covers and all glossy throughout.
I am learning to read French JUST to read this publication, that is how good it is. Even if you don't know how to read French, this mag is worth subscribing to just for the photos and layout alone!
Amazon's subscription service to this magazine has been excellent for me. Watch the price here, as it will fluctuate based on International exchange rates.
