Kentucky Explorer
This is a great magazine that I purchased a subscription for my grandmother. She loves to read all the old stories and see the old pictures. It is amazing how they come up with so many pictures for each issue. Great for anyone who grew up around the midwest. This magazine has been a godsend for people interested in Kentucky history, family histories, and so much more. It is now in its 23rd year of publication. And, for $2.50 cover price and some 110+ pages, an absolute bargain!! Sadly, the (small town) owned and published folk are having financial difficulties in this current economy. No surprise they should raise the price of this magazine to $5 or more an issue! It would be well worth it. The alternative is we will lose this great publication and, so much of it is contributed by readers. NO ADVERTISING. Help them out SAVE THEM.The Kentucky Explorer is a great magazine! I recieved my magazine within 4 weeks of ordering. I would encourage anyone to get it.I ordered this magazine and never received the magazine. I called their customer service and was treated very badly. The representative refused to make sure I got what I paid for and instead spoke very rudly to me and hung up. I have been cheated out of what I have paid for. I suggest that no one ever purchase a subscription to this magazine because they might not send you the product and they will be rude to you when you call to ask where your magazine is. Take it from me the employees of this company are not nice people and will rip you off as they have me. BEWARE!
