I'm into Gemstones and Jewelry Making. My husband is into all types of geology, and he collects mineral specimens. We both love this magazine!!! It is fantastic as the pictures and full detail articles are outstanding. Those pictures, though, really speak for themselves. It's almost like holding the mineral specimen in your own hands....and it's also finding out what's happening on general in the gem/geology world.
Besides, we got so much stuff with this first magazine, a free CD, and other welcome gifts. Even opportunities to order older magazines on specific topics...we've got a few that look very, very tempting.
So far, we are really enjoying this professional magazine. The magazine sells itself. I can't imagine that we'll ever give up this magazine. This is one that you start collecting in your bookcase. The quality is just first rate and exceptionally impecable.
Thanks so much E & CIf you are interested in minerals, this is a great mixture between the hobby and scientific journal. In-Depth profiles of individual mineral locations, special issues, occasionally a complete extra issue as a supplement. The last couple issues have had DVDs from Blue Cap Productions that were $20 each, just thrown in for free because of advertising sponsors. I've been subscribing for the past 7 years.Excellent photography and articles of some of the most spectacular minerals in the world and where they came from. Photography for this magazine is all of the highest level, displaying world class specimens as works of art. Almost all of the articles are written at a level that anyone with a bit of geology can understand. In addition, many of them are very well researched and would be at home in the more hardcore scientific journals.I want to review this issuehow do I do it ?
