Of all the quilt and craft magazines I get, this is my favorite. It is just the right blend of traditional quilting and modern stuff. I like the amount and quality of instructions. I like the variety of projects. I have made a number of projects from this magazine and wouldn't be without a subscription.

This quilting magazine is filled with wonderful ideas. The colors choices are great and you have a choice of easy to hard quilts. I love the magazine.

I enjoy trying some of the patterns in this magazine, also the thoroughness of the instructions is most helpful. I love looking at the different designs and color selections.

Paper Crafts (1-year auto-renewal)

This American papercrafting magazine is published every other month and the listed 2011 subscription rate is $19.97.

I'm basically interested in making greeting cards, and this magazine provides lots of inspiration, although it also includes other items crafted from paper, such as gift bags and boxes, and cupcake wrappers and toppers.

I currently subscribe to four papercrafting magazines, and this particular magazine tends to have the most amount of advertising and the least amount of text per issue. Its projects seem to fall into the frilly, girly-girl end of the crafting spectrum (lots of high heels, lace, and artificial flowers).

My favorite magazine is the American bimonthly Cardmaker (CardMakerMagazine.com) which provides a wider range of card patterns, and clearer directions on how to construct them.

Every issue of "Paper Crafts" contains the following sections: "Dear Go-to Gals" answers readers' questions about crafting techniques; "Go-to Sketches" "Go-to Gal Maren Benedict shows how her lovable sketches can be used to create an exciting array of projects for every occasion;" "Moxie Fabs" trends in papercrafting; "Color Play" examples of workable color combinations; "Paper Crafts 101" the January/February 2011 issue features "Get Daring with Decorative Tape;" and "Tips, Tools, & Techniques" the January/February 2011 issue features the Teresa Collins Stampmaker, various ink pads, and box making products.

I have been subscribing to "Paper Crafts" for several years. After reading and subscribing other paper crafting magazines; "Paper Crafts" is still the best on the market. I look forward to receiving the next issue to see what projects I can make, or at least get new ideas for projects.

I love Paper Crafts Magazine! I look forward to it every other month. The projects are expertly made with great instructions and material lists. The regular issues are typically focused on card-making, however they often have 'special' issues with other themes (home decor, holiday, gift ideas...)

Chevy High Performance (1-year auto-renewal)

CHP is a must in any Chevy lovers house. Has been a regular in our house for many years. Always learn something new or better ways to work on my Chevy. Most up to date information.

The tech articles in chevy high performance are second to none. They writers really know a lot about engines and I have yet to read the tech section without learning something new.

Beyond that it is a great magazine all around, but my favorite part is the tech.

p.s. the auto-renewal ordering is a nice touch as well.i'm in prison and have a diesel mech. degree completed during my stay. keeping up w/the chg's in technology is much easier w/the mag's i have. this is one of my favorites.

American Road

This is a great magazine. Not only you can have lots os information about places most people don't know, but also learn about american history. The magazine is great for those who love to travel America via the most beautiful and interesting roads this country has. Thr digital edition works perfectly on Kindle,and the print edition is of high quality paper and suitable for a collector. A must have magazine about the USA.

I wish it came out monthly. I want to plan a summer trip and can not wait two months for my next issue.

Mother Earth Living

I had picked up a copy of this magazine before subscribing. I am very much interested in living green and simple. The articles are of very good quality and cover a range of interesting topics. I really look forward to each issue.

Military Vehicles (1-year)

This is not a magazine it is a parts catalog. I bought this for my 12 year old because he is interested in the military. If you restore military vehicles you might want to buy a parts catalog but I expected a magazine with more than a couple of articles. 99% ads.

In addition, they sent me two issues right away (both back issues) and the new issue within two weeks of that. So instead of getting your initial subscription over the course of the year, they cram it into 6 months. This way they get rid of back issues and then can start asking you to renew within the first few months of subscribing. After all, within the first two weeks you're already half way through the initial subscription.

I would HIGHLY recommend subscribing through Amazon though. They make the process of cancelling a subscription super easy. I have often been able to get a better price through Amazon then anywhere else.

Very interesting for those who have an interest. Hope to purchase a truck or two at some point. Nice to know that not all I worked on have gone to scrap. A lot of memories. Nice reference location for parts and history.

Food Network Magazine (1-year auto-renewal)

This magazine is packaged very well for the casual reader. I would term it more as a Food Network Magazine than a recipe digest as some people might expect it to be. Yes, there are some recipes but its more about cooking tools (pretty expensive ones at that), fancy gear, insight into Food Network chefs, book promotions and then a few recipes.

Don't take me wrong, I like it but it is definitely not for the recipes it packs.

And for the rare vegetarian chef/cooking enthusiast out there, not your kind of book.

I bought this subscription a couple of weeks ago as a Christmas gift for my Mom and she already received it! And, it's GREAT! She LOVES it. The magazine has everything in it from easy recipes to interviews with stars and chefs. It has little articles on tips and tricks for your home and even "green" cooking and decorating ideas. I was super surprised how great the format of this magazine was and how visually pleasing it was to read. It was interesting, and not just if you're into cooking or watch the Food Network. I read the entire issue. Love it!

Gotta have this magazine if you are a lover of easy, delicious, unique food. Recipes for weeknights, weekends, get togethers and special occasions. Each recipe has pictures and easy to use instructions. Even for an experienced cook, the recipes are intriguing and unique enough to capture your interest and peak your curiosity enough to "give it a try". For the inexperienced cook, they are so easy to follow that there is no fear to "give it a try." Gotta have for "foodies" like me!!

This is a great magazine with fabulous and numerous recipes each month. I was pleasantly surprised with the content and have already made several of the meals. The first issue that I received had close to 100 different recipes.

I was pleasantly surprised at my first issue of Food Network Magazine. I expected another food magazine with maybe a few new ideas but this really exceeded my expectations. I've gotten two issues so far and really enjoy it. I like cooking magazines with lot of photos of the finished recipe and this doesn't disappoint. The high quality, colorful photos are a great temptation to try the different dishes which so far have turned out very well. I ordered Gourmet (1-year) around the same time and found Food Network a nice complement to it with more casual recipes along with the gourmet stuff.

I especially like the "Copy That!" feature where they take a dish from a well known restaurant and come up with a recipe for it. Also, the "Weeknight & Weekend Dinners" are a great source of inspiration when you can't come up with any ideas on your own. I posted some pictures of the magazine on this site.

I hope this magazine keeps up the same great style and articles because so far it's a winner!
