Journal De Mickey

We have a subscription to this magazine to keep up our French Language skills. We have tried Picsou in the past, so we had an inkling of what this would be like. We also read Paris Match, but these little comics pack a better punch for learning what people really say, and words that don't come up as much in regular newspapers. If you think your French language skills are beyond these magazines, try the crosswords, riddles, and think to yourself, do you know the French word for Manatee? Mammoth? Pimple? Sneakers? Ballroom? Checkers? Car horn?

The magazine took ages to get started, about 11 weeks, but once it arrived we got 2 issues in the first delivery, well packed, crisp and clean, complete with little toys that must be an occasional perk.
