Cross Country StitchingBeautiful pictures, accurate charts and clear graphs makes this one of the best cross stitching magazines on the stands today. Projects range from easy and quick to advanced and unique. Every issue is packed with loads of creative ideas. In addition, you have access to some of the best shops in the nation for materials. This magazine is a must for any cross stitcher.

I have been subscribing with this magazine since the first issue. I am a avid cross stitcher. I only wished I had more time. The articles are great. The patterns are easily seen and colorful. They can fit into any home. Some of them have biblical reference. I love the reciepe that they include into the magazine.

You cant go wrong with this subscription....only wished I could order more time to stitch.

I stitched one pattern out of these magazines a number of years ago. It was a beautiful sunflower sampler with crows. So lately I have been flipping through every issue at the local bookstore hoping for something along those lines. Unfortunately, I found these magazines to be rather redundant and every pattern has practically the same style. I am beginning to feel that once you seen one of these magazines you have seen them all. I have no problem with arts-n-craft or country themes, and I LOVE quilts and tole-painting, and I liked the verses and topics that the patterns were focused on, but I need variety. I like many different styles of patterns, floss colors, artists, realism, other cultures, nature scenes, etc. This magazine just did not fit what I was looking for.

This magazine is wonderful and customer service is great. The patterns are the "country" look, more like folk art, with wonderful samplers and my favorite the "country shoppes" that occurs in most October issues. These are so cute I want to do them all and you can order back issues at a very reasonable price. The charts are very easy to read, because they are not on the glossy paper like other magazines are. They also offer for sale the material you need to complete the project, along with great frames at a reasonable price. I like doing one of their patterns while I am doing a more "difficult" project, for a great "break" and a relaxing time, the only problem is you don't want to stop their projects to go back to the harder ones. They use a lot of the "new" overdyed threads too, which are so pretty. This is a great magazine for a great price, and I love the scripture that is included on many projects.
