I have been getting Track and Field news since 1972. This magazine dates back to the early 1950's and is the standard for track and field reporting and commentary from a magazine. They are very detailed in all aspects of the sport, experts from around the world compile the records, the meets,the participants, enlightened commentary from some of the Track and Field world's greatest authorities. They have records that date back to the Olympics from the turn of the 20th century at least. Anyone who is interested in this sport must get this magazine. I say this honestly, there is no better magazine in the world on reporting on this sport than this magazine.

I was inspired to write this because another reviewer gave this magazine a zero rating because he hadn't received his subscription yet. I can understand his frustration, but it has nothing to do with the magazine.

I've subscribed to Track and Field News for years and it is excellent. If you are a fan of the sport I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir as you probably subscribe to it already. I can't imagine someone being a fan and not subscribing to this magazine.

So for me it has it all: Great photography, interesting articles, detailed event reporting, schedules of future events, statistics regarding records and performances.

If you're not a track fan this is not for you; if you are this is a must have.
