Photoplus - England
I recently discovered PhotoPlus Magazine at my local bookstore. I am an amateur photographer who like most, want to get better. PhotoPlus caters exclusively to Canon EOS users. The majority of tutorials are demonstrated with mid-range models such as the Rebel and 40D. While the newstand price is quite pricey at around $12 per issue(ships from England), a subscription to this magazine is a far better investment than taking photography classes. Each issue contains usually 2 training DVD's featuring everything from Photoshop tools to Landscape photography. If you're a Canon user, you won't be disappointed with this magazine. This is my second time around with this magazine. It is excellent for those who have canon cameras. Well worth the expenditure which is a little pricey due to the heavy postage from the UK, but worth every cent. I purchased a subscription not only for myself, but for my son as well.Purchased for my husband who uses Canon products. He tells me the magazine has been very helpful and is well worth it.I look forward to receiving this magazine every month. It has everything you can image about photography...tutorials, reviews on software, best practices, workflows, post processing...and if you shoot with a Canon camera then you are in heaven because they cater to the Canon population. Can't say enough good things about it...yes, it is expensive because it ships from England, but worth every penny.I loved this magazine, one totally dedicated to the Canon DSLR. Lots of good information and an instructional DVD enclosed.
