Humor Times

Humor TimesThe Humor Times is a great publication! I must disclose my bias here upfront: the publisher is a personal friend of mine, and I played keyboards in his band in the late 90's (dude!). He's a wonderful spirit, a fine musician and band leader, and his name is James Israel.

His paper and online resources contain thought provoking and insightful cartoons that skewer modern life and the figures who seem to exemplify the best and worst of our species.

If you don't like political cartoons of a left-of-center bent then this publication is definitely not for you! Don't subscribe unless you want to enter a purgatory of conflicting desires wherein you might have to laugh at yourself once in a while.

BUY THIS PAPER! It supports the people who think like you do and have the luck to be able to express themselves artistically in their attempts to make this a better planet to live on.

I just enjoyed reading the latest issue of the Humor Times. Every month the HT pulls together the best political cartoons of the month. This issue's cartoons even made me laugh about the tragedy unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico. The HT is a breath of fresh air, a blast of comic relief. It's the Daily Show in print. Like its motto says...don't cry about the news, laugh about it with the Humor Times!

The "Humor Times is a well produced "progressive" cartoon newspaper that is both funny and smart. Full of political satire and cutting edge news. Not only cartoons from a bevy of artists but also news and opinion pieces from various commentators.

I love political cartoons and this is a brilliant collection of current event cartoons. It's also supplemented with commentary and great stuff, like "Bizarro" and "Cornered". I look forward to each issue and find myself clipping out my favorite cartons constantly.
