I have been exposed to the Singing News for going on 30 years and I am totally sold on its contributors as well as it's staff. This publication keeps fans and gospel music listeners abreast of the up and coming events, personnel changes and special needs of groups that travel around singing Southern Gospel music. I truly love the articles and pictures which bring some very popular people down to a regular persons level. By no means are they gods but they all (gospel music legends) are held in high regards. If you desire to be informed in this venue of music, this would be the magazine for you.

Just subscribed to The Singing News and received it after about 6 wks! Thanks for putting our Gospel group, THE TIPTONS, inside the July 2012 (pg 36) issue. Love how you all help Southern Gospel groups and report on and about them. God bless you!:)

Singing News is a really impressive little magazine that caters to the Southern Gospel Singing community. I haven't seen a singing magazine like it. I really enjoyed the lay out and the information it had. I would only subscribe of course if this is your genre interest since it is so specific and perfect for that.

Singing News is an outstanding magazine reporting on Southern Gospel music. It contains articles by the artists themselves along with upcoming concerts and releases. If you like Southern Gospel music, this is the magazine to have.

Voters need more reliable information concerning the Gospel Music Awards Ceremonies:

*Objectives

*Council Members

*Memberships and Privileges

*Relinquishing Membership

*Membership/Nominee Disqualification

Any member/nominee found indulging in acts contrary to the purposes and activities of the program should be removed by the Council by following the due procedure as laid down in

bye-laws. The Council should set a probationary period of 1 to 3 years for renomination. In good faith, an individual may resign his/her nomination.

Council members should relinquish their membership when it comes to receiving awards or honors at the ceremonies.

My favorite group walked away with numerous awards. I have always believe that they were #1, but three of the group members serve as Board of Directors for several southern gospel music events.

Some people are questioning why their favorite group wasn't nominated for an award. There are other qualified people who can serve on the board of directors.

I haven't mastered the craft of writing, but it can't be any worst than trying to read those pseudo-blog sites that are under various disguises and names.

They may feel comfortable writing their comments on those site because their views will not get publish in the Singing News Magazine.

We are not fans but friends of Gospel Musical Ministries. We should not relinquish our identity in Christ and relinquish our right to vote! We need an Independent Vote Analysis to ensure Voting Integrity for the Gospel Music Industry.
