Prehistoric Times

I was introduced to this by seeing at Wegman's a few short years ago and as an armchair paleontologist fell in love with Prehistoric Times. And when Wegman's no longer carried it I was disappointed. But then on a whim I typed in the magazine's name here at Amazon I found the subscription rates were cheaper than through the magazine itself. I can't wait until it comes!!! And for any newcomers to this magazines you will fall in love with the articles and several other tidbits in there. And if you're old enough to remember the huge dinosaur replicas put out by Sinclair you might find out where they are these days!!!

This was a gift order and he loves it. This is the 2nd year I ordered it for him (he is 23 years old not a child).

I have been purchasing this off the magazine rack for years. Finally got the subscription thru Amazon.

I guess I have never out grown my love of dinos from my grade school years, and thats more than 50 years ago. Excellent magazine.

Cakes and Sugarcraft

I like to bake and make chocolate truffles. So this magazine from Squires is excellent. Delivery is good never have had to complain that I did not receive an issue. If you like to bake and use fondant and other frostings, this is the magazine for you!

I have subscribed to this magazine for several years now, after buying them one issue at a time from the bookstore for several years. The magazine consistently has a wide variety of articles, covering techniques, events, biographies, project suggestions for instructors, and advice for those setting up their own studios. The quality continues to improve, and my personal experience with their customer support was quite satisfactory.

Purchased as a birthday gift for my sister, who is a fairly new potter, along with Pottery Making Illustrated. She loves them both, and says that each magazine has a very different perspective.

I have not yet received this magazine. I called the publisher a couple weeks ago to report this problem, and they were very nice and responsive on the phone, indicating they would send out my missed issue ASAP. I did receive another(duplicate)copy of the latest Pottery Making Illustrated issue, but no Clay Times has shown up yet! I will call publisher again, and I hope, when I finally receive this magazine, that I can rate it much higher than "1".

Recording Magazine (1-year auto-renewal)

Amazon, apparently, contracts out these subscription services to Synapse, Inc. I ordered Mix and Recording Magazine for my husband for XMAS on DEC.5th. We have never received EITHER magazine. When I called to inquire, I was told that it it would be 4 BUSINESS DAYS before I would be contacted by a customer service representative who could help me with my problem.

I do not recommend anyone subscribe to any magazine through Amazon that is handled by Synapse,Inc. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I the rating system would not allow me to give them ZERO.

I really get a lot out of Recording Magazine. It is great for both professionals in the trade, as well as DIYers, amateurs and beginners. I'm a professional, and still learn something new every issue!

This is probably the best of the magazines dealing with recording out there. It gives a lot of good information,not just product ads like some of the other magazines. It's definitely worth the money for the amount of knowledge you gain from the articles.
