The Reiki News Magazine provide comprehensive information for the practitioner. Articles are well written and easy to understand. I read my first issue cover-to-cover.

Even though this is a quarterly journal, I recieved the most recent copy instead of having to wait until the next publication date. It was a nice touch by the magazine!

I would recommend this publication to both new and experienced practitioners of Reiki.

While I agree there are some very good articles, I find this magazine to be way too promotional with most of the promotions pointing to RAND products and classes. The overpromoting overshadows the articles. Not worth the money to me.

Bike : Britains Biggest Motorcycle Magazine

Bike : Britains Biggest Motorcycle MagazineAfter you get a load of Bike the USA magazines will read like advertising slicks. It is the real deal for riding enthusiasts, written by riders for riders. They do excellent equipment and bike reviews, but the best articles are about the local heroes playing motorcycle in England and the continent. These guys aren't trying to get a job on a high paying car magazine, they are telling their friends, and you are privileged to be among them if you are a reader, about what's happening on the scene. The language is raw and so are the opinions. It is unpretentious British "working class" writing about a "working class" experience. It is the best general motorcycle riding magazine for the money, even though it costs two to three times more than American magazines. These guys are real, not a lot of posers, and they know what they're talking about.

WHY ISN'T THIS MAG ON KINDLE? IT SEEMS THAT NONE OF MY FAVORITES, EX. TOP GEAR ARE ON THE KINDLE. BIKE IS A GREAT MAGAZINE. BETTER THAN A LOT OF THE OTHER CRAP YOU FIND OUT THERE!

Buy Bike : Britains Biggest Motorcycle Magazine Now

Brit Mag never short on laffs, great pics and interesting, substantive articles. Definitely not PC, rude, literate humor is the norm. Not a candy rag that just prints the publicity from the MC corporations either. Hands out criticism equally w/just praise. Sport bike centric, faired & unfaired, other bikes are given articles but they aren't the focus here. With that said, they try to convey the feeling of riding and living w/all bikes. Always have one or more articles about interesting travel or bike event, so if you don't have the time or resources you can at least read about it. Loads of good, critical gear reviews. Well put together and good looking. Not cheap, but worth it.

In December 2007 my brother purchased a gift subscription for this magazine for me. I filled in and send off the activation code required and have received nothing a year later! I have emailed and telephoned Bauer Media trading as greatmagazines.co.uk and they have simply refused to do anything, saying "You must provide evidence of the address you sent it to etc." DO NOT BUY THIS!

Quick Quilts (1-year auto-renewal)

Quick QuiltsI purchased a subscription to this magazine last year for Christmas for my mom, who is a master quilter, and she loves it. She said most of the patterns/projects are considered "easy" but she likes it for that reason. Asked for a subscription renewal for this Christmas, and got it!

I love thumbing through this magazine. Just perfect for a new quilter like myself; nothing seems too challenging, but you can create some very pretty items! Great variety of quilts, something for everyone.

I am new to quilting, and am trying to help my church make quilts for charity. Working full time, I thought this might be a great help. Maybe these are quick quilts for those with a lot of experience, but it's not quick for my purposes. It may have also been my mistake by equating "quick" to "easy".

I quilt a lot, but only have a limited time to quilt each day. I love the smaller quick projects. I also purchase this for my daughter in law & friend. Seems every time a new issue comes out, I receive a call of thank you. The magazine has a good variety of projects, including a handbag this month.

Antique Power Magazine

Antique Power MagazineI love old tractors. Old cars, old engines, old farm equipment. And frankly, I'm not that old myself. I have a tractor in the yard that's 20 years my elder, however, and I love having it around. Antique Power Magazine takes you on a nationwide tour of what used to be the ubiquitous solution to Getting Things Done. From little garden tractors that would be dwarfed by today's "riding mowers" (and unlike the modern mowers, those little garden tractors could still pull a small plow) to mighty old steam traction engines, they're all part of this country's post-industrial history. And it's just brilliant stuff from collections as described by the owners, to the complicated, tortuous corporate histories, to sneak peeks at models seldom if ever seen by the public.

I gave a subscription of this magazine as a gift...for someone I LIKE. That ought to point up how highly I regard it.

Outstanding magazine if yu love old tractors this magazine is for you, not only contains great stories but very useful tips

San Francisco

San FranciscoA few months ago this magazine was transformed into one of those huge glossy coffee table type shi-shi magazines. 75% of the magazine consists of advertisements for hi-priced goods now. It's not worth subscribing to

This used to be a great (and medium-sized) magazine with at least one great article in every issue. Last year the format was changed & the darned thing is so big I can't read it in bed. At last look they still had at least one interesting article, but it is surrounded by page after page of mind-numbing glossy ads, with more pages of pictures of the SF social set.

I can't imagine what this costs to mail out; believe me, it is no longer worth the postage.
