DRAFT Magazine
The beer reviews are really interesting, usually the beer is available but not easily obtainable, which I like. Not so obscure as to be irrelevant but if you wanna try it you can't just go to BevMo, usually.
The layout is great, easy to read and find your way through.
I renewed my subscription.Bought a deal for a subscript to Draft. Great articles and information for us beer drinkers and lovers. I found beer after beer and bar after bar to try out and loved that. I was moving out of state and have been trying to get ahold of someone to change my address since last year August. I paid good money for these magazines and can't believe that I couldn't get anyone to respond to get this handled. Have a great product doesn't excuse you from giving good customer service to the people purchasing said product. Get it together Draft Mag!My only complaint is that there is no tablet or digital version to this magazine. I might cancel my subscription and look for something else as I hate wasting paper.

4wd Toyota Owner
This magazine is great packed full of USEFUL articles. There are a tons of articles on repairs and upgrades, new equipment coming out, driving tips, 4WD events, how-to articles, and more. The photos are great, not too many ads, and I've learned so much from each issue. I give this magazine a "10" I highly recommend this mag for anyone who has a 4WD Toytoa!I've subscribed to this magazine since the very first issue. The articles and tech write ups are top notch minus a few typos. Compared to some other Toyota specific magazines like "toyota trails",4wd Toyota Owner gives much more room for "how to" and
"build up" articles and not so much space is wasted on reporting a trip that a few guys took to D'lo Mississippi in search of the rare jara jara edition fj40 like some magazines. So if you ever wanted to know what other engine would fit into your 85 pickup or how to increase the horsepower on your mall cruiser i would highly recommend this magazine.Simply awesome! 4wd Toyota Owner continues to deliver nothing but the best in Toyota Off-Road every issue. The pictures are packed with action and the articles are informative and current. If you own any Toyota 4wd vehicle you have to check these guys out!

I purchased this for my husband who loves his Toyota truck. He loved it and read the magazine cover to cover. He hardly ever reads anything cover to cover! I used it as a Christmas list because he found things in it that he wanted to add to his truck but didn't want to spend the money on. Here is the reason I only gave it 3 stars... We didn't receive all of our issues. I contacted Amazon and they were very helpful. After contacting them, we received one of the missing magazines. We only received 4 magazines total. I have ordered it again because the hubby loved it so much. I will have to make sure I contact Amazon or the magazine as soon as we notice we didn't get one of them. Here is the break down...
1. The magazine itself is great and lots of information.
2. The magazine has great ideas for purchases and upgrades to your truck
3. Not getting all of your magazines kinds of sucks.

Entrepreneur
Business 2.0, Wired, Inc., Fast Company, Investor's Business Daily, The Wall Street Journal. These are the business magazines and newspapers that give today's entrpreneur a thorough guide to "the jungle".
Entrepreneur? Just a fancy-sounding title. And soon to be a stack in the recycle bin.
And as far as motivation goes, I get more by flipping through an issue of Robb Report than I have ever gotten by reading any one article in Entrepreneur.I have read this magazine on and off for a several years and wanted to add my 2 cents. Yes, the magazine does have many ads for business opportunities. But this is exactly something I want to read and evaluate, the marketplace of business opportunities. Many of these are franchise opportunities, which is exactly where the first time entrepreneur should start. The articles are generally well written and many will obviously be useful, but not all. The value of each article often depends on where you are in the business creation process. It was not until I read the E-Myth Revisited that I understood the value of these franchises. This magazine slices and dices the franchises by many metrics to help you find one where you are most likely to both succeed and be happy. The magazine is easily worth more than the price to any person seriously starting or building a small enterprise. Hope this has been helpful to the entrepreneurs out there.

This magazine is great just for keeping the spirit. It's filled with many success stories. But hardly any of those success stories include the details that led them into success. It's also extremely geared towards franchising. Every other article, and every other ad is about franchising. I have a one year subscription and at this point I'm bored. I'll keep the subscription, but it's highly unlikely that I will renew next year.*** Though one should check out their web site at entrepreneur.com. You will find that it is the total opposite of the magazine, and will prove to be a great wealth of information. My biz partner and I were excited to receive our first mag from this group. We were sorely disappointed. Most of the articles are not new information, but "rehashed" info widely available. We read it cover to cover for about 4 months, then cancelled the subscription. There are better sources out there and this is not one of them!!

Purchasing Amazon magazines is a good experience and I've never had issues and this is no exception! For the price it's great and I hope it stays published, especially with most magazines going digital or closing up shop. I'm not a fan of digital magazines.Wood is a great magazine with very detailed articles on how to build stuff as well as neat tips, tricks and jigs to use in the shop. I wish some of the projects were made for beginner because some of the ones that they say are for beginners, requires you to have tools most beginners don't have. Other than that, I am happy with the purchase and keep them in the shop for reference.

Outdoor Photographer (1-year auto-renewal)
In Outdoor Photographer you will find how-to articles on lighting, exposure, filters, gear, preparing yourself and your gear for the elements -be they arctic cold or rain forest heat and humidity, along with some advice specifically for digital cameras and the digital darkroom. And you will find this information for everything from close-up to landscape photography. Outdoor photographer focuses primarily on 35 mm and digital photography, with an occasional article on medium format. The discussions of exposure, lighting and locations are applicable to all formats of photography, however. And there is George Lepp's monthly question and answer column for those questions on just about any photographic or digital imaging subject that are not answered elsewhere.
And now for the best part. Outdoor Photographer tells you where to get great outdoor photographs. "Favorite Places" is a one-page feature in every issue that tells you about a great place in the United States to photograph, what there is to see, and what time of the year is best. Be sure to save those in case you ever have the time and means to visit them all. In addition to "Favorite Places" there are featured articles in every issue that detail a place to photograph, how to get there, what to take, what to photograph, etc., frequently written by well-known nature photographers and accompanied by some of their terrific photographs. I counted 3 such articles in the last issue of OP that I received. If you are a photographer or hobbiest who is able to travel a lot, Outdoor Photographer is a terrific bargain just for the locations. And if you don't travel much, it will help you photograph your backyard and local parks and gardens well.I have looked at many photography magazines many of them are just filled with ads....not what an amateur is looking for. I wanted indepth articles, helpful tips and information to help me improve my craft. I found it here. I read every issue cover to cover and back again. I find helpful information in every issue. I highly recommend this magazine even if you aren't purely an "outdoor" photographer.

I've been an "Outdoor Photographer" subscriber for many years and have watched the magazine slide steadily downhill. My current subscription expires in December and I won't be renewing for 2010. The latest renewal price from the publisher is $21.97 (a heck of a way to reward loyal subscribers)!More than most photo mags, OP blurs the line between editorial content and advertising. The lack of objectivity is even more evident in their placement of paid ads -in most cases, directly adjacent to the article that cites the product or service!
Having worked in the publishing industry (trade magazines), I know from experience that the needs of the readers are always secondary to the needs of advertisers, but OP has gone too far. I dropped "Popular Photography" last year for much the same reason. I currently subscribe to "Digital Photo Pro" and "Photoshop User," as well as many photo-related websites and blogs.
Save your money to travel and create new photo opportunities!

What a load my subscription ran out and I get a notice from a collection agency threatening me if I didn't pay them for a subscription I didn't renew. This a month after my previous subscription expired. Werner publishing, also the publishers of Digital Photo Pro, PC photo and numerous other useless golf and video rags, seem to think this is the way to build customers. If you're tired of big companies messing with you, don't bother with this magazine. Even if it was free, it is little more than a glossy shill for the advertisers who pay to advertise. For a fun game, try and find one negative review of a product from an advertiser that has a full page ad in the same issue. Good luck!

I let my original subscription run out without renewing, ignoring their numerous requests to sign up for another year. The publisher, Werner Publishing, sent my account to a collection agency, despite the fact that I had not purchased anything, nor said that I would renew the subscription. They sent me a threatening letter saying they were trying to collect a debt, and that "full payment is expected." When I called the agency, they even had a phone menu option for stating that you never renewed the magazine, showing clearly that this is a well-known, standardized process. This tactic of harassing people and frightening them into coughing up $14.97 for a magazine renewal is unconscionable. They need to be held accountable for using this scare technique as part of their regular business practice. This publisher also publishes such magazines as PC Photo and Digital Photo Pro. At a minimum, they caused me to waste a fair amount of my time correcting the problem.
It's a shame, too, because the magazine is well-written, has great photography, and decent equipmnent reviews. Some outstanding photographers write here. However, their efforts are ruined by their terrible publisher. Do not support these harassment tactics. For a mere $14.97, they've permanently lost a customer, and I hope others as well.
